Each musical work by Antonio Testa could be described as a journey that takes us around the world.
The attitude is similar to that of other eminent musicologists like David Parsons and Stephan Micus, but Testa’s approach to music is a very personal one.
"Ecosphere" confirms the eclecticismat the base of his music career
It was created in order “to find a balance between the biosphere and the technosphere' .
Translated into sound, it means a blessed meeting between the new deep rhythmic of the digital age and the old traditional harmonies of the world’s music.
In order to interpret them, Testa has trusted once again the magnetic voice of Susana Beatriz Alvear , author of lyrics and vocals and also responsible for five of the first six tracks, languid trip-hop dances in which the trumpet of Roberto Santoro ("Recuerdos ") shines alongside the acoustic guitars of Francesco Saverio Porciello (" Dance To Bobo ") and the drones played by Alio Die mixed with his bases and his bouzoki strings (played by Tito Rinesi).
In "Maya Prayer" we find fields recordings recorded by Testa in the forests of Mexico. Before the final track there is also space for a long-tropical ambient improvisation recorded in 1995 in Milan with U. de Souza, Raphael Scinia, Susana Beatriz Alvear and Rosana Santos.
